Despite daunting circumstances and few guidelines, district and school leaders are serving their communities and ensuring the safety and well-being of schools and families nationwide. As we consider reopening schools, building trust in our school communities will be paramount to our shared success. This third webinar in the series explored how district and school leaders can better prepare themselves for providing trauma-informed leadership to their communities. We offered a framework and strategies for building optimal school communities and conditions focused on equity, safety, relationships, educator mindset, and emotional well-being and regulation.
