Incorporating Social and Emotional Learning Into Classroom Instruction and Educator Effectiveness: A Toolkit for Tennessee Teachers and AdministratorsDeveloped in partnership among the Tennessee Department of Education, the Appalachia Regional Comprehensive Center (ARCC), and the GTL Center, this toolkit provides educators with resources for integrating social and emotional learning into their classrooms through Tennessee’s teacher evaluation system, the Tennessee Educator Acceleration Model (TEAM). Although the Toolkit is aligned with the TEAM model, other states and districts can also use the example teacher activities, student behaviors, model lessons, and discussion prompts to promote social and emotional learning in their classrooms.
