Equitable Access to Excellent Educators: State Planning Resources

Ensuring that all students have equitable access to high-quality teachers is not only a nationwide education priority but also a federal mandate. Learn from other states and experts in the field as we discuss State Plans to Ensure Equitable Access to Excellent Educators, including the latest federal requirements, research on educator equity, examples of equity strategies and plans from the Arizona and Minnesota state education agencies, and resources available to help.

This webinar is cohosted by REL Midwest, REL Southwest, REL West, and the Center on Great Teachers and Leaders. Our organizations are actively engaged in collaborative research and alliance building with stakeholders to promote educator equity and effectiveness, with the goal of closing the achievement gap for historically disadvantaged students.
